The forecast didn’t disappoint.

Eggs with yogurt. The bread looked nice but wasn’t for me. This yogurt was safe regarding glucose levels.

Rijn en Lek Windmill near Rijk-dij-duurstede.  Rather than wheat, the mill was used to grind tree bark that could be used in the leather tanning process. Unusual design originally including the town gate. Possibly the worlds only drive-through windmill.

The first of many ferries across the Rhine, this one was crossing the Lek, the northern tributary.

Never pass a cable tie without picking it up. This cable tie rescued the day until a better fix could be completed. Picked up in Essex a few days earlier.
